Role Overview

Join a vibrant team dedicated to shaping the National Capability Masterplan for cybersecurity, representing the interests of the entire Government. Collaborate with various internal and external parties, including government bodies and strategic partners, to steer the evolution and enhancement of cybersecurity capabilities aligned to governmental demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and promote comprehensive national cyber capability development roadmaps.
• Conduct thorough national-level cybersecurity gap assessments.
• Oversee and coordinate whole-of-government cybersecurity initiatives ensuring they align with capability plans.
• Advise on optimal allocation and placement of cybersecurity capabilities across government agencies and industry sectors.
• Formulate downstream policies associated with capability acquisition and strategic implementation to back the development plans.
• Manage prioritization of resources necessary to fulfill capability development objectives.
• Organize and lead high-level meetings and discussions involving senior stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least six years of relevant professional experience.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts; possessing certifications like Offensive Security, CISSP, or SANS is advantageous.
• Excellent skills in communication, presentation, and technical writing.
• Proven ability to engage, influence, and build effective partnerships among diverse stakeholders.
• Competency in data analysis, capable of summarizing and delivering clear findings and actionable advice.
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks effectively under time constraints.
• Collaborative team player who values interpersonal interactions.
