About the Role

The role of Asset Management Lead is critical for ensuring steady revenue flows, adherence to contracts, and optimizing commercial outcomes for BHIG’s operating assets in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

This position operates at the intersection of commercial, operational, and financial spheres, steering live plant operations, asset lifecycle management, and contract oversight. It requires continual interaction with diverse internal teams and external partners, playing an essential role in governance, performance reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments to resolve operational and maintenance commercial issues and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Support asset lifecycle projects such as upgrades, debottlenecking, and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Validate and reconcile process, metering, and operational data to ensure precise billing and reporting.
  • Lead efforts to enhance asset productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee commercial and financial performance of operating assets, focusing on revenue assurance and margin improvements.
  • Coordinate billing, collections, and dispute resolution processes in a timely manner.
  • Work alongside Finance and joint venture partners for accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Manage contracts and provide commercial advisory services ensuring contractual compliance and sound governance.
  • Draft and issue formal documentation including notices, claims, and communications in line with company procedures.
  • Engage with Business Development and JV partners to analyze contracts and support growth initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with utilities, regulators, and authorities to address commercial and compliance concerns.
  • Support audit preparedness and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Drive standardization and digitization efforts within commercial workflows.
  • Incorporate lessons learned to refine contract execution and governance processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Legal, or a related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in commercial, contract management, asset management, or business roles within energy, industrial gases, petrochemicals, oil & gas, or utilities sectors.
  • Proven skills in contract interpretation, financial analysis, stakeholder engagement, and clear, structured communication.
