Architect CAD & Construction Documentation Specialist - Remote

Job Overview

This contract position calls for a skilled Architect specializing in CAD and construction documentation working remotely. The role involves creating precise architectural floor plans, elevation drawings, and comprehensive CAD schematics essential for project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate detailed floor plans and elevation sets aligned with project specifications.
• Develop extensive 2D and 3D CAD drawings tailored for architectural and engineering applications.
• Apply accurate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) marks to support manufacturing documentation.
• Produce multi-sheet electrical schematics with detailed annotations conforming to industrial standards.
• Design and review printed circuit board (PCB) layouts ensuring manufacturability and functional integrity.
• Engage in collaborative exchanges to clarify project needs and address technical challenges.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation packages meeting quality benchmarks and project milestones.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• At least three years of recent experience in architectural CAD and construction document preparation.
• Proficiency in industry-recognized 2D/3D CAD software and PCB layout design tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and creating GD&T callouts and intricate schematic diagrams.
• Experience in drafting multi-sheet electrical schematics integrated into building designs.
• Excellent detail orientation and organizational aptitude to handle complex document sets.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Prior experience collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams is advantageous.
