About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual who demonstrates drive, passion, and integrity to join our growing team at the Porsche Centre in Charlestown, Dublin. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic pathway to become a qualified Vehicle Technician through an internationally recognised qualification.
Apprenticeship Programme
The apprenticeship lasts a minimum of four years and follows a modular standards-based system. This includes seven alternating phases: four on-the-job training phases and three off-the-job learning phases. Successful completion awards a FETAC/QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft, acknowledged nationally and internationally.
Responsibilities and Training
- Learn to perform vehicle repairs and servicing tasks effectively.
- Diagnose faults and carry out necessary additional repairs.
- Ensure all work is conducted safely, adhering to manufacturer and industry guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
- Pass Leaving Certificate or equivalent (e.g., A Levels).
- Strong interest in motor vehicles and enthusiasm to pursue a career as a Vehicle Technician.
- Analytical and methodical approach to tasks.
- High regard for customer service and professionalism.
- Commitment to completing the apprenticeship and progressing within the Joe Duffy Group.
- Possession of a full, clean Irish or EU driving license.
- Eligibility to work full time in the EU.
