Role Overview

The Apartment Leasing Manager will oversee leasing operations and support the everyday activities of the community. Key responsibilities include ensuring apartment occupancy, handling rent processes, assisting with resident communications, and enhancing leasing team performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lease apartments to sustain high occupancy levels and meet revenue targets
• Manage rent collection, post payments, and issue late payment notices
• Handle move-out notices, service requests, and resident transfer inquiries
• Provide support with daily operational tasks and managerial functions
• Keep all resident information confidential
• Prepare necessary reports, leasing documentation, and administrative paperwork
• Help maintain an engaging social media presence to raise community visibility
• Coach and support the Leasing Agent to improve sales results
• Deliver outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents
• Collaborate with the Property Manager and onsite team to ensure community success

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager in the apartment sector with significant leasing experience
• Strong skills in sales and leasing with a track record of closing leases
• Excellent communication abilities and customer service orientation
• Professional demeanor and appearance with a solid work ethic
• Availability to work some weekends as required
• Experience in social media or marketing content creation is highly preferred
• Consistent employment history
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are advantageous but not mandatory
• Must reside within 20 miles of Plant City, FL, or be willing to relocate
