Position Summary

We are seeking an Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer to work on high-speed serial link blocks. The opportunity is based in Hyderabad and requires 2 to 5 years of experience. Candidates must be prepared for an immediate to 30-day joining timeline and sign a three-way NDA for confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design advanced custom analog and digital circuit blocks such as ring oscillators, dividers, bias blocks, especially using lower FinFET technologies.
  • Conduct comprehensive verification activities including AC, transient, noise, PERC, electromigration (EM), IR drop, reliability tests, and co-simulations integrating analog and digital RTL.
  • Provide independent guidance to layout engineers and perform necessary post-layout design corrections.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and performance issues detected during simulation.
  • Adapt to various project assignments and execute tasks with minimal supervision, taking ownership of assigned blocks.
  • Employ CAD tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and HSPICE for schematic capture and circuit simulation tasks.
  • Implement verification flows covering pre- and post-layout design phases addressing all relevant performance metrics and reliability checks.
  • Review layouts attentively, provide constraints, and apply basic layout methodologies.
  • Leverage AI technologies for scripting and automation improvements within design workflows.

Expected Deliverables

  • Execute design implementations that meet power, performance, and area (PPA) targets.
  • Generate and validate all necessary design views using sign-off verification tools.
  • Prepare thorough documentation as required by project standards.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Holds B.Tech, M.Tech, or Ph.D. in Electronics or VLSI disciplines.
  • Possesses 2 to 5 years of experience in analog and mixed signal circuit design.
  • Has hands-on experience in high-speed serial link blocks, including transmitter, receiver, serializer, deserializer, clock distribution, oscillators, PLLs, flops, dividers, and bias circuits.
  • Familiar with CMOS fundamentals and performance parameters of analog/mixed signal and high-speed digital blocks.
  • Experienced in lower FinFET nodes of 5nm and below.
