Job description
Job Overview
The Administrative Manager for Markus Gardens works under the supervision of the Program Director and is tasked with providing comprehensive administrative and financial support at the Queens (Jamaica) location. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Key Duties
- Manage collection of rents and fees, maintain client financial ledgers, and process client allowances.
- Support the director in coordinating building maintenance and repairs.
- Oversee petty cash account management.
- Assist in staff scheduling in collaboration with the Director.
- Review annual income adjustments and handle leases and subleases.
- Track move-ins, move-outs, tenant transfers, and lease renewals using the Property Management System (Real Page).
- Prepare and handle monthly reports, maintain records, and monitor client attendance and billing.
- Perform bookkeeping duties as assigned.
- Manage program banking activities.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
- Maintain general office operations including equipment upkeep, inventory control, and procurement of office supplies.
- Participate in training sessions as requested by supervisory staff.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as designated by supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma is required.
- At least two years of progressively responsible experience in secretarial or comparable administrative roles.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers an annual salary of $59,645 along with comprehensive benefits.
