Role Overview
Our Eversley Village in Hastings is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to join a committed team dedicated to enriching the lives of residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Diversional Therapist to design and deliver enjoyable, diverse activity programs for residents.
- Assess residents' abilities and needs, motivating their involvement in various activities.
- Adhere to organizational policies to ensure a secure environment for all residents.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Prior experience in planning and organizing activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with empathy for elderly individuals.
- Effective communication and proficiency with IT tools.
- Energetic and vibrant demeanor.
- Possession of a clean New Zealand driver’s license.
- Flexibility and multitasking capabilities.
- Availability to work during weekends.
- All candidates must have full work authorization in New Zealand.
