Position Overview

Chop Chop Grill House & Coffee Shop is looking for a dependable and meticulous Accountant to join their finance team. This role involves managing the company's financial documentation, preparing reliable reports, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards. The position is critical for supporting both daily operations and the long-term financial stability of the business.

Main Duties

• Keep thorough financial and accounting records, such as ledgers and journals.
• Generate regular financial statements and management reports.
• Guarantee compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal guidelines.
• Reconcile financial accounts, including bank statements and monthly balances.
• Aid in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Assist auditors and handle audit-related inquiries.
• Oversee internal control systems and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal departments on financial topics.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least five years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management.
• High attention to detail along with effective time management skills.
• Capability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and widely-used accounting software.
• Strong analytical and organizational competencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
