Job description
About the Company
MobiLoud specializes in enabling established ecommerce businesses to quickly convert their existing websites into mobile apps for iOS and Android. By removing the need to rebuild or manage multiple systems, MobiLoud empowers brands to increase customer retention and reduce cart abandonment while minimizing reliance on paid advertising. Founded in 2013, MobiLoud is a profitable, remote-first SaaS company serving hundreds of customers including well-known brands such as Estée Lauder, John Varvatos, Jack & Jones, and Tadashi Shoji. The company operates with a close-knit, fully remote team of 16 professionals.
Role Overview
As an Account Executive, you will take full ownership of the sales cycle for ecommerce clients across North America, the UK, and Europe. You will handle everything from initial discovery and demo presentation to proposal creation, pricing negotiations, contract management, and closing. Your interactions will primarily be with decision-makers like founders, marketing leaders, and heads of digital from established DTC brands. An ability to effectively communicate with both North American and European buyers and to understand the commercial drivers behind investing in a mobile app is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery sessions with new leads from various sources, including inbound, SDR-generated, and self-sourced prospects.
- Deliver product demonstrations that are tailored to illustrate the app’s impact on the client’s website, customer retention, and business goals.
- Create customized proposals and build a compelling ROI narrative to support each opportunity.
- Lead pricing and commercial discussions within predefined parameters.
- Oversee the contract process from negotiation through to final signature and customer handoff.
- Actively build your own sales pipeline through outbound efforts, referrals, and rekindling previous opportunities.
- Maintain CRM data accurately, ensuring up-to-date records with clear next steps and deal timings.
- Share sales insights and findings to help refine outbound campaigns and marketing strategies.
Position Requirements
- Proven track record in full-cycle B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, ecommerce, retention, martech, digital agencies, or similar fields.
- Demonstrated ability to close deals, including discussing deal metrics such as size, win rate, sales cycle, and pipeline sources.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage naturally with North American and European buyers.
- Strong understanding of both North American and European business environments, ecommerce trends, DTC brands, and the needs of senior commercial buyers.
- Comfort engaging founders, digital leaders, and marketing heads without relying on scripts.
- A solid grasp of ecommerce drivers such as retention, repeat business, owned marketing channels, and paid media challenges.
- Based in the UK with flexibility to overlap with both UK/EU time zones and North American afternoons.
Compensation and Additional Details
- Base salary: £5,000 per month, paid as an independent contractor.
- Additional variable compensation based on closed sales and performance.
- Contract is full-time and remote; you are responsible for your own invoicing and taxes.
- Direct, regular access to the founder for fast feedback and support.
- Opportunity to work with recognized, high-revenue ecommerce companies.
Who Should Not Apply
- Those with experience limited strictly to inbound sales, or who are unwilling to source/revive leads autonomously.
- Applicants who have not previously closed B2B sales deals.
- Individuals whose English is either too formal, scripted, or not sufficiently natural for North American markets.
- People not engaged with current ecommerce and DTC trends, or who lack understanding of consumer brand growth online.
- Candidates needing close day-to-day oversight or management.
