Position Overview

The 2026-27 Custodian role within the Maintenance Department involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure assigned rooms, buildings, and office spaces are neat, orderly, and hygienic. Additionally, maintaining the cleanliness of the surrounding grounds by removing litter is a key responsibility.

Qualifications

Candidates should have basic literacy skills, including reading and comprehension, as well as the ability to understand verbal instructions and communicate effectively. Prior experience in custodial work is advantageous but not mandatory. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
