Role Overview

The Workday Senior Specialist position is pivotal in delivering Workday implementation, enhancement, and Application Management Services (AMS). This role blends functional expertise, configuration, client consultation, testing, training, and continuous support to help clients maximize their Workday platform investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering Workday implementations and AMS projects.
• Configure and maintain Workday modules including HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Compensation, Payroll, and Time Tracking.
• Analyze client needs and provide recommendations based on Workday best practices.
• Participate in solution design and configuration workshops to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Advise clients on Workday features, business process improvements, and help in tenant assessments and ongoing improvements.
• Lead and support testing phases including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing, as well as coordinate defect resolution.
• Support deployment activities such as cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-implementation hypercare.
• Develop and conduct train-the-user sessions, prepare documentation and knowledge transfer materials to enable client adoption.
• Investigate and resolve functional issues, manage change requests, and provide advisory services to optimize platform use.
• Mentor junior consultants and analysts, share best practices, and contribute to team capability building.
• Support presales activities such as demonstrations and proposal development as needed.
