Role Overview

Adventure Glacier Treks & Expedition is looking for a skilled, analytical, and imaginative SEO Travel Blog Writer to amplify organic search traffic for our travel and trekking website. While our internal team develops trip itineraries, your primary role will be to ensure potential travelers discover us prominently on Google.

Key Responsibilities

• Create thoroughly researched, engaging, and extensive travel blog posts ranging from 1,200 to 2,500+ words designed to rank highly on Google's first page.
• Perform keyword and search intent analysis to find high-volume, low-competition keywords, long-tail phrases, and frequently asked traveler queries.
• Optimize content with effective on-page SEO: craft H1 to H3 headers, captivating meta titles and descriptions, alongside appropriate image alt texts for each piece.
• Use strategic internal linking within blog content to channel organic traffic towards booking pages and tour packages.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of verified SEO content writing experience, ideally demonstrated via high-ranking blog posts, or a strong willingness to develop SEO writing skills.
• Familiarity and practical knowledge of keyword research tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or Google Keyword Planner, plus a foundational understanding of Google Search Console.
• Deep knowledge of the Himalayan travel landscape, including culture, seasonal/weather-related travel windows, trekking routes in Nepal and Bhutan, and relevant logistics.
• Excellent command of English, with native-level grammar and storytelling skills, and ability to adapt voice and tone for target audiences in the US, UK, Europe, and Australia.
• Proficiency in formatting content using easily scannable components like bullets, comparison tables, and concise paragraphs to enhance readability and reduce bounce rates.
