Warehouse Assistant

Role Overview

As a Warehouse Assistant at Cariflex PTE Ltd in Singapore, you will handle daily warehouse operations ensuring smooth receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. This role demands careful attention to inventory management, safety, and system updates to maintain accurate stock records.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming goods against purchase and delivery documents.
• Assist with daily collection and distribution of items for various work units.
• Efficiently use a computer to perform SAP transactions related to material management.
• Update Goods Issue (GI) and Goods Receipt (GR) details within the SAP system.
• Support cycle counts and stock-taking activities to ensure stock accuracy.
• Sort, label, stock shelves, and organize inventory systematically.
• Conduct regular audits and inventory checks to confirm stock levels.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and adhere strictly to safety guidelines.
• Operate forklift equipment safely and coordinate its maintenance.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Candidate Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a strong safety focus.
• Proven working knowledge of SAP system data entry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and basic computer operations.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Preferred forklift license with operational experience.
• Educational qualifications: NITEC, GCE 'O' Level, ITE, or Diploma in Logistics/Warehouse Management, coupled with at least 2 years of relevant warehousing experience.
