Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Vulnerability Researcher to join a global technology leader on a full-time remote basis. The position involves in-depth technical investigations to uncover security vulnerabilities in various software systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze software statically and dynamically to discover vulnerabilities within codebases and supporting infrastructure.
Craft exploit proofs-of-concept to confirm vulnerabilities and evaluate their effects.
Work alongside engineering teams to prioritize security issues and facilitate remediation processes.
Investigate and stay informed about new exploits, attack mechanisms, and zero-day vulnerabilities relevant to current technologies.
Prepare detailed documentation including technical analyses, risk evaluations, and suggested mitigations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Go for analyzing and exploiting vulnerabilities.
Experience using reverse engineering tools including IDA Pro, Ghidra, or Binary Ninja.
Understanding of prevalent vulnerability categories like buffer overflows, race conditions, and injection attacks.
Familiarity with network protocols, operating system internals, and memory corruption exploits.
Hands-on knowledge of fuzz testing tools such as AFL, LibFuzzer, or Honggfuzz.
Comprehension of secure coding methods and software development life cycle security practices.
Ability to create clear and concise technical reports tailored to diverse stakeholder expertise levels.
