Role Summary

The Video Editor intern will assist the creative team by shaping brand films and social media content into engaging stories that match the project brief. This role involves working with raw footage, building edits, and preparing polished outputs for multiple formats and platforms.

Day to day, the intern will organize footage, cut and refine clips, sync audio, apply color correction, add motion graphics and text elements, and export final deliverables. The role also includes close collaboration with producers, directors, and designers, as well as incorporating feedback while keeping the visual style consistent across assignments.

This is a remote internship opportunity that offers practical experience with live client projects and space to contribute ideas in a professional production environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit brand films and social media videos so they align with the creative brief and intended audience.
• Sort, trim, and arrange raw footage into clear and engaging story sequences.
• Synchronize audio and visuals, then refine timing and pacing for digital content.
• Perform basic color correction and grading to maintain a consistent look and mood.
• Create or add motion graphics, titles, lower-thirds, and similar graphic elements where needed.
• Prepare exports in the required formats and aspect ratios for different platforms.
• Work closely with producers, directors, and designers throughout the editing process.
• Revise edits based on feedback while preserving quality and visual consistency.

Requirements

• Strong base knowledge of video production and editing across different formats and aspect ratios.
• Capability to carry out color grading and basic color correction.
• Interest in or experience with motion graphics, titles, and simple animated visuals.
• Hands-on familiarity with standard editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Good sense of pacing, visual storytelling, and detail for social and digital content.
• Clear communication, openness to critique, and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Relevant coursework, a portfolio, or personal video/media projects; agency or production exposure is an advantage.
