Overview
Orient Electricals is seeking a Vendor Management Executive to oversee various procurement operations, focusing on purchase order creation and vendor liaison. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SAP and Excel, with excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail to support the entire purchasing cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and release Purchase Orders (PO) within the SAP system.
- Confirm accuracy of vendor pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules before PO finalization.
- Act as a communication bridge between suppliers and multiple internal departments to ensure smooth cooperation.
- Monitor and track the status of outstanding purchase orders regularly.
- Maintain comprehensive records related to procurement activities and documentation.
- Assist in reconciling vendor invoices with purchase orders and support procurement reporting requirements.
- Ensure all procurement processes comply with organizational policies and standards.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess 1 to 3 years of practical experience in procurement or purchase operations.
- Hands-on familiarity with SAP ERP systems for purchase operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for managing data and reporting.
- Effective verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Highly organized with strong emphasis on details and accuracy.
