Role Overview
The Validation & Compliance Lead is responsible for guaranteeing that all research and development outcomes as well as cell designs comply fully with international technical standards and regulatory frameworks.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform detailed mapping of R&D specifications against recognized global standards such as UL, IEC, and IEEE.
- Manage preparation and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation files.
- Ensure compliance and technical alignment with EU Battery Passport data mandates including tracking parameters such as carbon footprint and recycled material content.
- Liaise and coordinate with third-party certification bodies for conducting official product testing and validation processes.
Required Expertise and Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of international battery regulations and certification protocols.
- Proven experience in developing technical documentation and preparing for audits by regulatory authorities.
- Solid understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards alongside sustainability reporting frameworks.
- Recommended educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or alternatively in Law or Science with specialization in regulatory compliance.
