Overview
NavVis is a global leader specializing in bridging physical and digital realities through innovative digital twin technology. Join our IVION Product Team in Munich, where you'll design user experiences that help customers worldwide effectively navigate and manage digital representations of real-world environments. Your work will directly impact how users interact with 3D spatial data and complex workflow tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UX design end-to-end for features within the NavVis IVION platform, progressing from initial discovery and ideation to prototyping, validation, and final UI design deliverables.
- Conduct and direct user research activities, including interviews, usability tests, and concept validations, to identify user needs and validate solutions.
- Create clear and intuitive user flows, interaction designs, and solutions that balance business goals and user insights.
- Act as an advocate for users throughout product development, sharing research findings and usability insights across teams.
- Continuously uncover usability issues and recommend improvements by benchmarking against competitor products.
- Enhance the NavVis design system by developing and refining shared UI components, design patterns, and guidelines.
- Engage actively in the company-wide UX Guild to promote best practices, UX methodologies, and integration of AI tools in design workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in UX or product design with a portfolio demonstrating comprehensive design work.
- Strong expertise in user research techniques such as interviews, usability testing, and concept validation.
- Proficiency with design tools like Figma along with research repository platforms such as Condens.
- Thorough knowledge of usability principles, user-centered design, and a keen visual design sensibility.
- Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools to enhance design process efficiency and creativity.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills in English, capable of explaining design choices and incorporating feedback effectively.
- Additional advantageous skills include mobile app design, 3D visualization experience, familiarity with B2B or enterprise software environments, and academic background in interaction design or related fields.
