Selected candidates will undertake a structured competency program that encompasses both practical skills and theoretical knowledge essential for the role. Guided by an experienced Training Officer and the wider professional team, trainees will gain expertise across Routine Haematology, Haemoglobinopathies, Coagulation, Bone Marrow Testing, and Flow Cytometry.

The department operates on the iSoft Apex computerized system, holding registrations with HCPC and IBMS as a training lab alongside full UKAS Accreditation.
