Tender Specialist

About the Role

We are searching for an organized, analytical, and detail-conscious professional to join us as a Tender Specialist. This role involves managing the full spectrum of tender processes within government and private healthcare sectors, guaranteeing bids that are compliant, competitive, and submitted punctually to bolster company growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and follow tender opportunities across platforms such as NUPCO (SRM & iNUPCO), Wasfaty, Etimad, Direct Purchase, Ministry and customer platforms, as well as private sector channels.
• Oversee the entire tender lifecycle from identifying opportunities to submission, award, and post-award activities.
• Prepare, scrutinize, and submit all required technical, commercial, and regulatory documents ahead of tender deadlines.
• Collaborate with various departments including Business Development, Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Sales, Marketing, and Key Account Management to execute tenders successfully.
• Create pricing studies, commercial evaluations, and bid proposals in line with corporate strategies and profit objectives.
• Keep track of tender notifications, addendums, clarifications, objections, and communicate updates internally on time.
• Supervise awarded tenders, assist with contract implementation, and coordinate product delivery obligations with appropriate teams.
• Maintain comprehensive records of tender documentation, pricing approvals, contracts, and reporting.
• Support process improvements in tender management while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry norms.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Supply Chain Management.
• 2 to 5 years of experience handling tenders, preferably in pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare fields.
• Proficient use of procurement platforms including NUPCO, Wasfaty, Etimad, iNUPCO.
• Solid knowledge of SFDA regulations, procurement procedures, and healthcare tender criteria.
• Strong analytical abilities, organization, and project coordination competence.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and general Office applications.
• Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines in a demanding environment.
