TechNode Global is seeking Technology Reporters to join its digital newsroom, contributing insightful and comprehensive journalism that influences the technology landscape in Asia. This position is located in Singapore, part of our expansion efforts across Southeast Asia.

Candidate Profile

• Resides in Southeast Asia with a degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, or a related discipline
• Minimum of two years' experience in English journalism
• Strong enthusiasm and inquisitiveness regarding the technology sector
• Meticulous attention to detail ensuring high content accuracy
• Effective intercultural communication skills; proficiency in one or more Southeast Asian languages is advantageous
• Possesses both professional and personal networks locally and regionally to ensure trustworthy, sentiment-based content
• Demonstrates persistence during challenges, understanding that impactful stories often require time to develop fully

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and write stories centered on the Asia-Pacific technology and startup ecosystem
• Collaborate closely with the editorial team regarding content, sources, and deadlines
• Participate actively in editorial planning and strategy discussions
• Maintain critical thinking and deliver accurate, timely writing and editing
• Stay informed on current trends and developments within the industry
• Expand a network of personal and professional contacts to secure exclusive interviews and news scoops
• Ensure prompt responsiveness and consistent communication with editors during working hours

This role is based on-site in Singapore within a fast-growing and dynamic media company focused on technology journalism.
