This opportunity is for a Technical Program Manager focused on supply chain execution for advanced hardware programs in the United States. The position sits at the center of engineering, procurement, and program delivery, helping ensure suppliers, materials, and commercial commitments stay aligned with aggressive development schedules in aerospace and defense work.

You will work in a fast-moving, engineering-led setting where initiative, practical judgment, and flexibility matter. The role calls for close coordination with internal technical teams and external suppliers to manage complex purchasing activity, reduce commercial and delivery risk, and build supplier operations that can scale as the business grows.

Core accountabilities

• Own supplier-side execution for technical hardware programs, including RFQs, purchase orders, supplier communications, delivery monitoring, and resolution of open issues.
• Convert engineering and program needs into clear supplier actions, while protecting material availability and schedule commitments.
• Lead negotiations on commercial terms and supplier agreements, covering payment timing, delivery promises, warranty terms, cancellation language, IP protection, and allocation of risk.
• Evaluate supplier quotes, proposals, and contract terms to surface commercial and operational risks early.
• Partner with engineering and program leadership to keep procurement aligned with technical priorities and milestone dates.
• Track supplier performance, lead times, open POs, and delivery commitments, escalating blockers promptly when required.
• Support purchasing in government and export-controlled environments by following applicable regulations and supplier compliance requirements.
• Help design scalable supplier management processes that improve speed, quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a closely related field.
• Background in procurement, supplier management, contracts, supply chain, or commercial program execution in aerospace, defense, robotics, manufacturing, or similar hardware-heavy sectors.
• Prior experience in a fast-growing startup or another dynamic environment where processes evolve quickly and ownership is high.
• Working knowledge of U.S. government contracting and export-controlled settings, including ITAR and EAR.
• Proven ability to negotiate supplier contracts, commercial terms, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and risk-mitigation approaches.
• Strong collaboration skills for working with engineering teams and turning technical requirements into supplier execution plans.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to juggle several priorities under tight deadlines.
• U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance if necessary.
• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, government contract flow-downs, prototype procurement, or technical hardware sourcing is a strong plus.

Compensation and benefits

The role offers a competitive annual base salary of USD 110,000 to 145,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Equity compensation may also be available.
