Role Overview

The Team Lead will partner with store management to ensure smooth daily operations while inspiring the team to provide excellent customer service. This position demands leadership, style awareness, and an active presence on the floor to foster an organized, vibrant, and customer-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive store sales by supporting achievement of targets and aligning efforts with company KPIs.
• Manage daily store functions including adherence to policies, loss prevention, store opening and closing, cash handling, scheduling, and generating reports.
• Ensure top-tier merchandising standards and appealing visual displays to maintain a clean and inviting store ambiance.
• Lead ongoing team coaching and development through training and feedback to boost skill levels and confidence.
• Maintain effective communication with the Store Manager to ensure operational alignment and timely execution of priorities.
• Work closely with management to guarantee cohesive priorities and swift implementation of action plans.
• Exemplify a customer-first mentality by actively engaging on the sales floor, addressing customer issues, and exemplifying service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months’ leadership or supervisory experience in retail or a customer service-oriented setting.
• Proven ability to motivate and guide teams toward shared objectives.
• Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong customer focus with the skills to craft an inviting shopping experience.
• Outstanding organizational talents and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Working knowledge of scheduling, cash handling, merchandising, and inventory management.
• A passion for fashion with a good sense of style and understanding of current trends.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Physical ability to stand for long durations, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and use ladders reaching up to 3 meters (10 feet).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Additional Information

Compensation: Starting pay is at least $1.80 above minimum wage; actual rate may be higher depending on experience.
