Role Overview
We are seeking a part-time Systems Administrator to support and maintain the FC Den Bosch Foundation's IT infrastructure remotely. The individual will be responsible for managing servers, user accounts, and system configurations, ensuring the systems remain secure and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain system performance, implementing updates and patches as needed.
- Manage backup and recovery processes while documenting system changes meticulously.
- Provide technical support by addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
- Collaborate with staff to assess IT requirements and suggest enhancements to improve system efficiency and security.
Qualification and Skills
- Proven expertise in system administration comprising operating system and server management as well as user access control.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve various technical problems.
- Knowledgeable in network administration, including router and switch configuration, firewall management, and network security enforcement.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT principles, security best practices, and standards.
- Experience with remote work technologies, virtualization, cloud platforms, and backup/recovery methods.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize independently and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalents are advantageous.
- Previous involvement in non-profit or sports-related sectors is desirable but not mandatory.
