About the Role
HealthActiv is looking for a proficient System Administrator to become part of their Digital Transformation & Innovation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining internal software systems, servers, network, and storage hardware to ensure business-critical applications remain highly available and secure.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly monitor logs from systems and servers, addressing any identified performance or security issues promptly.
- Manage virtual and physical servers along with their operating systems to guarantee the continuous availability of essential business applications.
- Implement approved software updates and apply security patches to systems and servers on a routine basis.
- Maintain network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with industry-standard best practices.
- Support and administer Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Intune, including management of Group Policies and tenant configurations.
- Handle end-user account management, controlling permissions, access rights, and storage allocations according to best practices.
- Oversee the entire backup solution lifecycle, including conducting periodic restoration tests of critical business data.
- Manage user access workflows such as onboarding, transfers, and offboarding procedures.
- Enforce security protocols consistently across systems, accounts, and data to protect sensitive information.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of IT assets, ownership, and lifecycle status.
- Administer IT contracts, software licenses, and maintain vendor relationships to secure necessary products and services.
- Document technical procedures, maintain SOPs, configure system records, and fulfill related tasks as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in an IT technical capacity.
- Practical expertise with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and virtualization platforms.
- Demonstrated skills in system planning, security best practices, and software management methodologies.
- Knowledgeable in backup and recovery procedures, patch management, and IT asset and license control.
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and data protection compliance in regulated settings.
- Capability to independently investigate and assess system issues, emerging technologies, and products.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and self-driven professional.
- Adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies.
- Excellent communication ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Team-oriented with the flexibility to work autonomously when required to achieve goals.
- Effective in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
- Possession of a valid motor vehicle driving license.
