Role Summary

The organization is searching for a Supply Chain Associate based in Singapore, specializing in the management of inventory and shipments for a B2B beauty products business with international sourcing. This position involves handling end-to-end logistics, ensuring on-time and cost-efficient delivery, and maintaining effective communication across suppliers, carriers, and internal departments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound shipment processes from international vendors to the company warehouse to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport partners to optimize shipping schedules, routes, and costs.
• Ensure compliance with all import regulations, including customs clearance, tariffs, and documentation relevant to beauty products.
• Resolve issues related to shipment delays, losses, or damages promptly and assist with insurance claims by compiling required documentation.
• Keep detailed records of shipping activities, invoices, customs papers, and tracking information.
• Generate periodic reports on delivery status, logistics costs, and performance metrics for internal review.
• Oversee daily inventory management and coordinate closely with internal teams to maintain smooth supply chain operations.
• Provide operational support by taking on additional responsibilities to cover absences or peak workload periods.
• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders to promptly address supply chain or inventory interruptions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years' experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain roles, ideally within beauty or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors. Candidates who are fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of business tools such as Dynamics 365, IWMS, and GEEK+ is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially advanced skills in Excel including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.
• Sound understanding of Singapore’s import/export rules and international freight operations is essential. Inventory management experience is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities to independently address operational challenges.
• Excellent organizational abilities enabling management of multiple shipments with high accuracy.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin (reading, speaking, and writing) to interact with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
• Capable of collaborating effectively with global suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams.
