Job description
Position Overview
Join Marriott Executive Apartments as a Human Resources Supervisor based in Dubai. This role involves supporting management and leadership in employee relations, recruitment compliance, and HR issue resolution. You will be responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting in employee surveys, and providing support in various administrative HR tasks.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor and track employee relations concerns, ensuring proper resolution and follow-up.
- Support management and leadership in resolving HR-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal laws and company policies during hiring and recruitment.
- Maintain accurate employee records such as interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Assist in administering and scheduling annual employee surveys.
- Respond to employee and management inquiries related to HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Facilitate effective communication of employer-employee relations and personnel programs to staff.
- Answer phone calls and manage messages professionally.
- Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Adhere to company safety and security procedures and report any incidents or unsafe conditions.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive information.
- Welcome guests per company standards and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Promote positive working relationships and teamwork to achieve common goals.
- Use computers and point of sale systems for work-related tasks.
- Perform light physical tasks involving objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Perform additional job duties as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- Minimum of one year of related work experience.
- At least one year of experience in a supervisory role.
- No specific licenses or certifications required.
