Student Success Lead

About the Role

This position is based in multiple locations including Amritsar, Chandigarh, Rajkot, Patna, and Varanasi. The primary responsibility includes analyzing emerging job market trends, identifying in-demand job roles and skills across regions and sectors, and forging partnerships with leading employers to counsel, train, place, and support students post-placement. The role directly contributes to the outcomes of Wadhwani Foundation's Workforce Growth Operations (WGO).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research on regional job markets and develop a strategic roadmap to achieve WGO objectives via employer engagement channels.
• Form strategic alliances with the top five employers in sectors prioritized by the Foundation, such as Retail, Healthcare, BFSI, ITES, Automobile, Beauty and Wellness, and Hospitality, along with relevant sector skill councils including NASSCOM, CII, RASHI, Healthcare, and BFSI councils.
• Lead the establishment of Industry Advisory Councils in the selected sectors to utilize expert insights for enhancing WGO's offerings.
• Utilize partnerships to curate, aggregate, enhance, digitize, and validate educational content across various modules and oversee the training and placement of students.
• Design and implement pilot programs collaboratively with partners to validate model efficacy.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 8 years working experience in B2C, education, or skilling ecosystems.
• In-depth knowledge of skilling environments including VTP/VTI, government, and educational stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale or national programs.
• Proven capability to cultivate and maintain robust employer and stakeholder networks.
• Strategic thinker experienced in technology-enabled and innovative operational models.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Familiarity and proficiency with EdTech platforms and digital tools.
• Experience in leading teams and managing personnel effectively.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills capable of navigating ambiguous situations.
• High degree of ownership, operational focus, and availability for extensive travel.
