Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Storekeeper to join our Oil & Gas EPC project team in Abu Dhabi. This role is vital for ensuring the timely and accurate receipt, storage, control, and issuance of materials, tools, equipment, and consumables to support seamless project execution. The Storekeeper ensures stock accuracy, material traceability, and adherence to quality and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming project materials, verifying compliance with purchase orders, delivery notes, and specifications.
• Maintain organized and secure storage of materials following segregation, labeling, and preservation protocols.
• Implement inventory control techniques like FIFO/LIFO to manage stock efficiently.
• Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations to maintain accurate records.
• Issue materials and equipment upon approved requests, tracking all stock movements including returns and transfers.
• Coordinate prompt delivery of materials to relevant teams to avoid project delays.
• Communicate with Procurement, Engineering, QA/QC, and Project teams regarding shortages, delays, and replenishment needs.
• Ensure strict compliance with company, project, and HSE policies especially for handling hazardous or sensitive materials.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and prepare periodic inventory and stock reports.
• Support audit processes by maintaining audit-ready warehouse documentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of High School certificate; Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Engineering, or related fields is preferable.
• Between 4 and 6 years of relevant experience in storekeeping or material control within Oil & Gas, EPC, EPCM, industrial construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in managing materials for large-scale construction projects.
• Familiarity with ERP and inventory management software is advantageous.
