Job Overview

The position of Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of the Airtel retail outlet in Raipur to ensure smooth functioning, compliance with company standards, and attainment of revenue and cost goals.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain operational standards aligned with SOPs, including store aesthetics and ambiance.
• Manage inventory through regular audits and coordinate with supply chain for stock optimization.
• Supervise visual merchandising to ensure appealing and brand-consistent displays.
• Monitor financials like transaction flow and budgets to meet cost efficiency and targets.
• Implement asset protection methods to secure inventory and store assets.
• Coordinate store readiness for formal events such as launches, refits, and conversions.
• Foster a superior in-store customer experience for increased satisfaction and loyalty.
• Develop and track KPIs to evaluate store performance and report findings to senior management.
• Lead, mentor, and train retail team members to enhance service and sales effectiveness.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, and HR teams to align store operations with corporate strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold a full-time graduate degree; MBA or PGDM is advantageous.
• At least 4 years of experience in retail business operations.

Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in retail operations and sales & marketing methods.
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong process adherence, influencing skills, and effective communication (verbal and written).
• Excellent interpersonal skills fostering teamwork and collaboration.
• High customer focus with a results-driven mindset and positive energy.

Interaction & Reporting Structure

The role reports to the Regional Head (Zonal Own Retail Manager) and involves collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Zonal/Area Sales Managers and Field Sales Executives, as well as external channel partners.
