About the Role
Stone Depot by Impacto Nigeria is seeking a meticulous and organized Stock Keeper / Inventory Controller to oversee our warehouse and manage inventory operations. This role involves handling all materials, from raw stones and porcelain to finished products, tools, and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete inventory processes including receiving, issuing, and reconciling materials, consumables, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and audit-compliant warehouse environment at all times.
- Ensure full traceability of every material from receipt through production to final installation.
- Maintain a live digital ledger tracking all stone and porcelain offcuts to maximize reuse and minimize waste.
- Conduct daily inspections, weekly cycle counts, monthly reconciliations, and quarterly stock audits.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports such as Goods Received Notes (GRNs), requisitions, variance analyses, and stock valuations.
Candidate Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- At least three years of experience in inventory, stock, or warehouse management.
- Industry experience within construction, manufacturing, or building materials is advantageous.
- Proficient in inventory management or ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail, high ethical standards, and strong ownership mentality.
- Ability to work autonomously and maintain composure under pressure.
Performance Expectations
Success in this role is demonstrated by achieving over 99% inventory accuracy, limiting stock variances to below 1%, eliminating unauthorized stock movements, and ensuring all warehoused items are precisely located and available when required.
