An opportunity is available for a motivated, caring and detail-focused nurse to join an 18-bed gynaecology ward team in Swindon. The ward works closely with consultants, advanced practitioners and service managers to provide a responsive and high-quality service for patients and their carers. The team also supports patients from other specialties such as medicine, surgery, occasional orthopaedics and breast surgery. Nurses interested in learning more about the Early Pregnancy and Emergency Gynaecology unit may also have opportunities to broaden their experience there.

What the role involves

The post holder will be accountable for delivering safe, evidence-based and individualised care to an allocated patient group, either in an acute hospital setting or in the community. You will also contribute to the ongoing improvement of care standards, including nursing practice and outcome monitoring, while actively maintaining your own professional development.
