Role Purpose

As the inaugural Solutions Architect for Saudi Arabia, you will be essential in expanding Cohere's presence within the KSA and the wider Gulf Cooperation Council. Collaborating with sales, partnerships, and leadership teams, you will articulate and demonstrate the value of Cohere's AI technology, building on relationships with key clients such as STC.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of client challenges and align them with suitable Cohere AI solutions.
• Act as the primary technical advisor managing relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.
• Drive increased adoption of Cohere's products by facilitating pilots and technological demonstrations.
• Lead the design and implementation of customer-specific AI pilot projects showcasing the impact of Cohere's technology.
• Translate business objectives of customers into technical solutions leveraging Cohere’s products.
• Represent customer feedback and needs to internal product teams, influencing future product directions.
• Provide guidance on best practices for leveraging Cohere’s platform and identify optimization opportunities.
• Foster technical champions within client organizations to enhance product use and adoption.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, partners, and sales to ensure alignment and scale solutions effectively.

Daily Activities

• Leading technical discussions during client engagements.
• Crafting enterprise architectures for deployments across Northern regions.
• Perform in-depth analysis to address client inquiries about Cohere technology.
• Managing and facilitating customer evaluation phases and pilot programs.
• Creating and documenting scalable processes for the solutions architect team and related units.
• Partnering with the product and engineering teams to align offerings with client requirements.
• Developing collaboration strategies with partners to accelerate customer enablement.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of five years’ experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Digital Strategy Consultant.
• Strong enthusiasm and knowledge of Generative AI, including the capabilities and limitations of large language models and AI technologies.
• Familiarity with fundamental machine learning principles like model training and evaluation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both executive-level and technical audiences.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous, undefined environments and instituting impactful process improvements.
• Proficiency in Python programming and the use of assistive coding tools.
• Preferred experience includes at least two years designing or implementing NLP, AI, or LLM solutions, customizing models for business objectives, and working within cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI.
• Native-level fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
