Role Overview

As a Software Engineer Intern based in New York, NY, you will work on-site and engage directly with engineers and product teams to design, develop, and enhance AI-powered software applications. Your responsibilities encompass implementing and testing backend features, ensuring your code is clean, maintainable, and adheres to best practices. You will contribute to designing APIs and services, assist in debugging and code reviews, and actively participate in daily stand-up meetings and technical discussions. Under mentorship from senior engineers, you'll also document your contributions and support the deployment of your work within production environments.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and basic systems concepts.
• Have hands-on experience or relevant academic coursework in software development, proficient in at least one current programming language such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Understand Object-Oriented Programming principles and apply them effectively to solve practical problems.
• Familiarity with backend web development topics like API construction, database interaction, or service integration.
• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
• Capable of working onsite in New York, NY, and thrive in collaborative team settings.
