About the Role
The Social Fleur is seeking a passionate Social Media Intern to join their Los Angeles team. This part-time internship offers hands-on experience with short-form content creation and editing, focused on diverse sectors such as fashion, beauty, lifestyle, retail, food, and events. Ideal for students pursuing marketing, business, communications, or media studies, it provides valuable agency exposure and portfolio building opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in capturing content at photo shoots, events, and retail store openings.
- Edit video content for formats like Reels, TikToks, and Stories, adhering to creative guidelines.
- Follow detailed shot lists and creative directions from the team.
- Conduct research on current social media trends, popular sounds, hooks, and editing techniques.
- Support social media and creative departments as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Currently enrolled in marketing, business, communications, media, or related academic programs.
- Have personal experience creating and editing content for social media platforms.
- Understand the elements that make short-form content captivating and effective.
- Proficient or comfortable using video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
- Dependable, innovative, well-organized, and eager to enhance learning and skills.
- Based in Los Angeles with availability to attend shoots during regular business hours.
While prior professional experience is not mandatory, candidates must demonstrate a proven history of managing and editing content for their own social channels.
