Role Overview

We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator Intern to manage daily social media operations across several accounts including Swish Breaks (main), PokéSwish, and Swish Smash. Responsibilities include scheduling, publishing, monitoring and engaging with audiences. You will control the content calendar to ensure that every post is timely, platform-appropriate, and captioned effectively. Creativity and social trend awareness are key, as you will also support content ideation and creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the social content calendar on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and X, balancing planning with real-time adjustments.
• Publish scheduled content to multiple brand accounts, aligning posts by content type e.g., sports content to Swish Breaks, entertainment to Swish Smash, Pokémon to PokéSwish.
• Create compelling captions and hooks tailored to each account's voice.
• Interact with followers by responding to comments and direct messages to foster community engagement.
• Track post performance meticulously to learn and optimize content strategy.
• Identify emerging trends early and report them to the team for timely content adaptation.
• Coordinate with creators and editors to maintain a steady flow of fresh content.
• Promote live shows through timely posts, recaps, and coverage across key platforms.
• Continuously develop and propose new content ideas, including series concepts and spontaneous posts.

Candidate Profile

• In-depth experience with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts from both consumer and publisher perspectives.
• Excellent writing skills with an ability to craft captions that engage and convert.
• Highly organized with the ability to implement systems that prevent missed deadlines or tasks.
• Curious about sports, trading cards, Pokémon, or entertainment, willing to deepen knowledge.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment with frequent content posting.
