Key Duties

• Oversee plant equipment and process performance to ensure operations remain within approved parameters.
• Coordinate utility plant activities during the shift to match the operational needs of the main production facility.
• Capture equipment readings and daily operating conditions, analyze routine data, and maintain accurate entries in the required logs.
• Perform scheduled inspections, minor adjustments, checks, and cleaning to reduce the likelihood of unplanned stoppages.
• Apply permit-to-work procedures and confirm all required safety precautions before releasing any equipment, vessel, or pump for maintenance.
• Keep the plant and operational workspace orderly, clean, and safe at all times.
• Comply with all operating, safety, environmental, and quality requirements to maintain high standards of plant performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in plant operations or a similar technical environment.
• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a B.Sc. in Chemistry.
• Excellent English proficiency.
• Ability to monitor processes, maintain logs, and follow strict operating procedures.
• Working knowledge of safety controls, permit procedures, and quality/environmental compliance.
