About the Role
The Health Promotion Board (HPB) envisions a healthier Singapore where active living becomes a fundamental part of everyday life. Join this mission if you are passionate about pioneering initiatives that inspire behavioral change and promote physical activity across the nation.
As part of HPB's Physical Activity Department within the Physical Activity and Healthy Ageing Division, your role will focus on empowering residents to adopt sustained active lifestyles. This department designs impactful programmes including community efforts and literacy campaigns, collaborating with government agencies, industry leaders, and key partners to broaden access to inclusive and quality physical activity options.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of national physical activity strategies and programmes.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external contractors to ensure programmes meet HPB objectives and compliance standards.
- Review and improve operational processes to boost efficiency.
- Manage contract administration and contractors' performance, ensuring alignment with requirements and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate audit activities and liaise with stakeholders to optimize resources and manage risks.
Candidate Profile
- Detail-oriented and self-driven, thriving in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
- Strong analytical capabilities combined with a focus on improving delivery processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholder expectations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities to convey ideas clearly.
- Proven experience in managing and implementing community-based programmes.
- Familiarity with contract monitoring and compliance, ensuring adherence and mitigating risks.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in sports and exercise, health sciences, or business management are advantageous.
Terms and Contract
Successful applicants will be engaged on a fixed 2-year contract basis.
