Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our studio's post-production team. The position entails crafting high-quality, innovative video content tailored for various social media platforms, brand campaigns, event coverage, and digital outlets. The successful candidate will demonstrate speed, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong creative drive, alongside proficiency in modern editing techniques, including motion graphics and AI-enhanced tools. Collaboration with producers, designers, strategists, and account teams is essential to produce engaging videos that align with both artistic and commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit both short and long-form video materials for social media, brand campaigns, websites, and digital platforms.
• Produce optimally formatted edits suited for different social media channels.
• Utilize After Effects to apply motion graphics, text animations, visual transitions, and effects.
• Work on event videos, brand films, highlight reels, teasers, and recap videos.
• Incorporate AI-based enhancements such as auto-captioning, transitions, effects, upscaling, and templating into workflows.
• Ensure visual alignment with brand guidelines and creative direction.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently while adhering to tight deadlines.
• Organize project files, timelines, and assets in line with studio protocols.
• Collaborate with creative and production teams to refine edits through iterative feedback.
• Keep abreast of evolving social media trends, editing styles, and new video formats.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Competent in Adobe After Effects, specifically motion graphics, transitions, and text animations.
• Strong grasp of storytelling, video pacing, rhythm, and visual coherence.
• Experience editing social media video content such as Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and advertisements.
• Familiarity with AI video editing tools including auto-captioning and AI-powered enhancements.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality output.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency in visual style.
• Good communication skills and receptiveness to feedback.
• Well-organized, dependable, and adaptable to a fast-paced agency environment.

Preferred Experience

• Background working in digital agencies, production houses, or creative studios.
• Experience producing content for brands, campaigns, or events.
• Understanding of social-first creative formats and content optimized for performance.
• Basic knowledge of sound design, color correction, and formatting for multiple platforms.
• Experience with templates, presets, and workflow optimizations.
• Familiarity with collaborative tools and asset management systems.
• Comfortable in high-pace agency settings.
