Role Overview

This Senior Solution Architect position requires deep expertise in designing advanced digital and technical architectures, with emphasis on government sector or service-oriented environments. The role demands substantial ICT experience and strong leadership to mentor fellow architects while engaging in vendor management and contributing to strategy development.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience specifically in solution or technical architecture, ideally within government or service-based settings, alongside at least 10 years in ICT roles.
• Proven track record in architecting and delivering complex, innovative digital solutions.
• Lead and guide other architects through demonstrated technology leadership.
• Handle commercial aspects including coordinating with multiple vendors and managing vendor selection.
• Participate in forming digital architecture strategies, roadmaps, and standards.
• Possess extensive knowledge in domains such as data, software, infrastructure, security, network, integration, identity, and cloud computing.
• Solid understanding and practical experience applying Agile, Project Management, and SDLC methodologies.
• In-depth familiarity with architecture development frameworks and producing quality architectural artifacts compliant with All-of-Government standards.
• Ability to comprehend business needs alongside system functionalities and processes.
• Innovate with abstract concepts to address business and technological challenges while aligning outcomes with departmental strategies and enterprise architecture.
• Exhibit flexibility and eagerness to embrace new challenges and responsibilities.
• Possess tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrate equivalent experience.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Confidential security clearance.
• Hold certifications such as Cloud Solution Architect, TOGAF, or equivalent architecture credentials or practical experience.
