Role Overview

As a Senior Project Manager within the Business Transformation Office, you will lead major strategic programs that improve how the organization operates across functions. You will partner with stakeholders in business, IT, engineering, and operations to shape scope, define priorities, map future-state workflows, and deliver transformation work with measurable impact.

This hybrid position is based in Denver and requires strong ownership, cross-functional leadership, and a practical approach to execution. You will report to the Director of Business Transformation Delivery and help ensure that initiatives stay aligned to business objectives, operational efficiency goals, and scalable growth.

The role is well suited to someone who can turn strategy into action, connect process improvement with technology enablement, and guide change in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of high-complexity strategic initiatives that cut across functions, systems, and operating processes.
  • Convert stakeholder expectations into clear scope documents, requirements, delivery roadmaps, and success metrics.
  • Use project management methods to deliver work on schedule, within scope, and in line with business goals.
  • Bring together technical and non-technical teams to improve clarity, alignment, and execution.
  • Monitor and share updates on milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions with teams, sponsors, and senior leaders.
  • Communicate project health, escalation points, and tradeoffs to leadership when needed.
  • Remove blockers, settle conflicts, and push critical-path work forward with strong accountability.
  • Recognize how technology, operations, and business priorities intersect to produce successful outcomes.
  • Help improve BTO processes, templates, policies, tools, and partnership practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Must be located in Colorado for the hybrid schedule; the current in-office day is Tuesday.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, program management, or PMO work.
  • At least 3 years of business consulting experience.
  • Strong delivery capabilities across analysis, scoping, requirements collection, execution management, and change management.
  • Background leading cross-functional business and technology efforts in complex settings.
  • Ability to organize ambiguous problems and build alignment among multiple stakeholder groups.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in technology, software, or cloud-based environments.
  • Exposure to M&A integration or system implementation projects.
  • Experience working with product and engineering areas such as SDLC, pricing, migration, or process rollout.
  • Strong leadership, diplomacy, and motivational skills for influencing across business and technology teams.
  • Experience in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
  • PMP certification.
  • Comfort using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, JIRA, and Lucidchart.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall approaches.

Compensation

The advertised Colorado salary range for this position is $116,000 to $155,000 per year. Final pay will depend on factors such as knowledge, skills, and abilities, in line with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085).

Benefits and Perks

  • Generous PTO and holiday schedule.
  • Parental leave.
  • Progressive healthcare options.
  • Retirement programs.
  • Education reimbursement opportunity.
  • Commuter offset at specific locations.
  • Flexible and collaborative work culture.
  • Employee resource groups that promote belonging.
  • Company and team bonding events.
  • Competitive benefits and perks.
  • Global volunteering and community initiatives.
