About Axon
Axon is focused on protecting life, capturing truth, and speeding up justice through products and services built for public safety. The company combines devices and cloud software to help address some of society’s most important safety and justice challenges. As the business grows internationally, it continues to emphasize collaboration, customer input, diverse viewpoints, and operational excellence.
Role Overview
This position serves as the in-market product lead for the META region, covering the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. You will guide product strategy and execution across Digital Evidence Management and Devices, turning regional market realities into clear direction for global product and engineering teams.
The role requires close partnership with regional sales and customer success teams to uncover opportunities, support tenders, and improve adoption, while also making sure product decisions remain practical, scalable, and impactful. It is a highly independent position that calls for strong technical understanding, market awareness, and disciplined delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and drive the regional growth strategy for Axon’s connected product ecosystem across META, including hardware devices and digital evidence solutions.
- Work directly with agencies, customers, and the regional sales team to identify operational pain points and convert them into product priorities.
- Bring regional needs into global product planning so roadmaps account for local constraints and create measurable value in the field.
- Act as a connector between sales and product teams, ensuring external commitments are aligned with what internal teams can realistically deliver.
- Participate early in tender and RFP processes to help shape requirements, influence proposal direction, and strengthen win potential.
- Represent Axon’s ecosystem in the region and show how its cloud-first, connected solutions improve public safety outcomes.
Experience and Background
The role calls for at least 8 years of experience in product management or another technical function, with direct customer engagement and a track record of turning field insights into product results. You should be comfortable working independently in complex, cross-functional environments and managing senior stakeholder relationships. Experience across both software and hardware products is expected, and familiarity with SaaS, cloud, or IoT environments is a strong advantage.
Skills and Working Style
- Strong ability to break down ambiguous problems, evaluate trade-offs, and build alignment across teams.
- Broad technical curiosity and the ability to explain connected ecosystems clearly compared with on-premise or isolated solutions.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail, especially for commitments, dependencies, and documentation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for different audiences and levels of technical depth.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-changing, high-pressure environment.
Languages
English and Arabic fluency are both required.
Travel
The role requires willingness to travel across the META region and internationally as needed, approximately 20%.
Why This Role Stands Out
- You will own meaningful outcomes for Axon’s regional portfolio and help shape international product direction.
- The work sits at the intersection of technology and public safety, offering complex and high-impact challenges.
- You will join a collaborative team committed to improving safety and efficiency globally.
- Axon supports curiosity and initiative, giving you room to grow and influence the company’s international success.
