About Humble Robotics
Humble Robotics is transforming ground transportation by creating an autonomous, zero-emission freight hauler that leverages innovative vision-based AI to significantly reduce freight costs worldwide. Our team is composed of industry veterans and creative minds working collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment where culture emerges naturally, delivering a unique and exciting journey.
Role Overview
The Senior Product Manager plays a crucial role collaborating with teams in autonomy, hardware, embedded software, data platforms, and operational functions to clarify ambiguous needs into structured requirements, prioritized plans, and product releases that drive company progress. This position leads product strategy and roadmap management across various product lines including autonomous vehicles, charging infrastructure, internal operational tools, and data gathering systems. Balancing high-level vision with hands-on execution defines success in this role, which demands agility in a hardware startup setting.
Key Duties
- Develop and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for multiple product components such as autonomous vehicles, charging stations, and data acquisition.
- Convert requirements from autonomy, engineering, and operations into well-defined specifications, priorities, and backlogs.
- Create comprehensive product specifications that guide engineering implementations and remain involved throughout development cycles.
- Work cross-functionally with hardware, embedded software, and platform teams to deliver features across vehicle and charging ecosystems.
- Make informed prioritization decisions balancing scope, schedules, and resource allocation among competing demands.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics for product areas, regularly updating leadership on progress.
- Manage trade-offs between product efficiency, cost, complexity, and timing in decision-making processes.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary collaboration from early design stages through deployment and ongoing field support.
- Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and regulatory standards across all products.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- At least 7 years experience managing products, including full ownership responsibilities.
- Proven ability to deliver complex technical products integrating hardware and/or software.
- Strong technical understanding enabling effective partnership with engineering teams on sophisticated systems.
- Track record turning ambiguous, cross-team needs into clear product requirements and roadmaps.
- Excellent communication skills enabling alignment across diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical aptitude with experience setting and applying metrics to guide product choices.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related area.
- Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, automotive, or electric vehicle charging sectors.
- Experience managing hybrid hardware/software product lines.
- Knowledge of vehicle systems, sensors, telemetry, charging infrastructure, batteries, or energy management.
- Expertise with data collection workflows, data pipelines, or machine learning data processes.
- Experience collaborating across engineering functions from concept through deployment.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws and compliance in regulated or safety-critical contexts.
- Experience working in fast-moving startups or early-stage product environments.
