Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for experienced Senior Network Engineers to join a remote team tasked with supporting a large-scale SD-WAN deployment and upgrade across more than 1,000 sites. This role requires remote supervision of installations, collaboration with field technicians, configuring network infrastructure, and ensuring smooth integration and optimal performance of SD-WAN solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage remotely the installation and activation of SD-WAN devices at customer locations.
- Facilitate deployment and integration of SD-WAN across various sites.
- Coordinate with on-site technicians and field engineers during rollout activities.
- Configure routing, switching, and network settings necessary for the SD-WAN deployments.
- Push configuration updates to support the new SD-WAN infrastructure.
- Conduct pre-installation checks and post-deployment testing to validate connectivity and performance.
- Troubleshoot deployment and network issues remotely, providing quick resolutions.
- Monitor network performance to optimize traffic flow and segmentation.
- Maintain detailed deployment documentation, including configuration records and status reports.
- Collaborate effectively with project management, operations teams, and vendors.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
- Proven hands-on expertise with SD-WAN technologies like VeloCloud, Cisco SD-WAN/Viptela, Fortinet, Aruba, or equivalents.
- Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, NAT, and VPNs.
- Experience with major enterprise network vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or Arista.
- Skilled in coordinating and managing deployments remotely across multiple locations.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities in distributed network architectures.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Availability to work night shifts Monday through Friday to support global deployment efforts.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Background in large multi-site network rollouts involving more than 500 locations.
- Familiarity with network security concepts, firewall configuration, and segmentation.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, VeloCloud, Fortinet NSE, or similar.
- Experience using network monitoring and management platforms.
- Prior experience in remote deployment or migration projects is a plus.

Engagement Details

Compensation
Offered salary ranges from INR 1,800,000 to INR 3,000,000 per year.
