Job Overview

This role involves designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and algorithms to address complex challenges. The engineer will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to enhance offerings with AI/ML-driven insights, build scalable ML pipelines, maintain data integrity, and ensure successful production deployment to improve customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and refine machine learning models for a variety of purposes.
• Analyze and preprocess large-scale datasets to derive actionable insights.
• Deploy ML models and solutions effectively in production environments using suitable frameworks and tools.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate ML capabilities into existing products and services.
• Continuously monitor and assess performance of deployed ML models.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience using cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for data processing and ML deployment.
• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and scaling machine learning models.

Preferred and Additional Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in quantitative disciplines such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence is preferred; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree with a strong technical machine learning background.
• Hands-on programming experience with Python or Java, supplemented by knowledge of technologies like Spark, Hadoop, BigQuery, and SQL.
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms and explainable AI, with specialization in areas such as Computer Vision, Graph Mining, Natural Language Processing, or Generative AI.
• Familiarity with cloud-based machine learning frameworks (GCP, AWS) is advantageous.
• Experience managing end-to-end ML development from concept to business impact.
• Capability to design ML pipelines including model version control, deployment, testing, and monitoring.
• Mentorship experience, supporting junior data scientists or engineers.
• Comfort working in diverse, multi-cultural, and multi-location environments.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, responsibility, and a delivery-driven approach.

Travel and Work Arrangement

This position requires approximately 20% travel. The predominant work model is a hybrid flexible schedule with 3 days per week in-office to foster collaboration and 2 days available for remote work from home or office.
