Senior Implementation Consultant – East Coast

Role overview

ETech Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant to support its Accela implementation and managed services work. In this role, you will partner with City, County, and State Government clients to plan, design, and deliver solutions on the Accela Civic Platform.

What you will do

• Facilitate discovery and analysis meetings to gather and define business needs across multiple areas.
• Work on solution design for domains such as land management, business licensing, professional licensing, code enforcement, and asset management.
• Build, test, and document the completed solution components.
• Deliver training to both end users and technical stakeholders on the final solutions.
• Support sales pursuits and contribute during opportunity discussions.
• Collaborate with the internal team to grow existing out-of-the-box solution capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to expand the company’s iPaaS offerings.
• Contribute to technical work including scripting, data conversion or migration, and report development.

Experience and qualifications

• You should bring at least 5 years of consulting and implementation experience with commercial off-the-shelf software.
• A minimum of 3 years working with the Accela Civic Platform is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a closely related discipline is expected.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills are important for this role.
• You should have solid presentation experience.
• Both Agile and Waterfall delivery experience is needed.
• JavaScript knowledge is required.
• You must be able to work in and around the DC area.
• Travel flexibility is required.
• You should be comfortable working from a home office.
• A genuine interest in serving government clients is important.

Additional qualifications that are a plus

• Experience writing SQL scripts.
• Background in report development with SSRS or Crystal Reports.
• Programming exposure in C# .NET, Java, or Node.js.
• Project management experience or prior leadership of managed services accounts.

This is a remote position focused on the East Coast.
