Overview
We seek an experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to lead HR for a healthcare company with around 300 staff. Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, this remote role (Texas or North Carolina) requires a strategic, hands-on leader adept in all HR functions within a dynamic healthcare setting. The work schedule is Monday through Friday on Central Time, with occasional weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with CEO, COO, and leadership to align HR strategies with company objectives and growth plans.
- Create and implement workforce and succession planning, along with organizational development initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance on staffing, employee retention, engagement, and effectiveness.
- Analyze HR metrics to recommend enhancements improving performance and retention.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment to attract and select top candidates.
- Advance the employer brand and build talent pipelines.
- Improve onboarding to ensure new hires succeed from their start.
- Develop leadership coaching and employee training programs.
- Manage employee relations including conflict resolution, investigations, and performance management.
- Cultivate a positive workplace culture through engagement, recognition, and transparent communication.
- Coach managers on employee matters ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and maintain HR policies and records.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, HRIS systems, payroll coordination, and HR operations.
- Mitigate employment risks and work with external vendors and partners.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, set goals, track performance, and promote accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years progressive HR leadership experience in healthcare.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law, compliance, employee relations, benefits, compensation, HR policies, and organizational development.
- Experience crafting HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office.
- Master’s degree and experience utilizing HR analytics and workforce data preferred.
