About the Role
Join Parsons as a Senior Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to lead and oversee HSE standards across multiple construction sites in Makkah, Taif, and Jeddah areas. This senior role involves providing expert technical guidance, delivering HSE training, and supporting safety managers within various global business units to ensure the highest compliance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise contractor safety performance across assigned sites.
- Enforce adherence to occupational health protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment.
- Engage actively in internal safety audits and periodic site inspections.
- Participate thoroughly in incident investigations.
- Confirm compliance with permit-to-work procedures.
- Organize or arrange specialized HSE training sessions for site personnel.
- Collaborate with Health & Safety specialists to apply safety standards effectively on sites.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive site safety reports.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Health, or Environmental discipline from a recognized university, approved by engineering authorities.
- Robust understanding of Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) regulations and standards relevant to construction projects, with knowledge of associated site hazards.
- Continuous professional development in safety management.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and motivating SH&E teams.
- Membership in a recognized safety organization such as NEBOSH.
- Valid certifications in First Aid and Hazard Assessment, including competencies in confined space entry and scaffolding safety.
- At least 15 years industrial experience working on large-scale multi-use venues or leisure and entertainment construction projects.
