About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Global Logistics Lead who excels in managing logistics and supply chain functions within a dynamic international framework. This key leadership position focuses on advancing operational excellence across worldwide warehouses, inventory management, and logistics systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and cultivate partnerships with global third-party logistics (3PL) warehousing providers.
- Regularly assess warehouse performance using KPIs, service level metrics, capacity planning, and other operational indicators.
- Ensure high inventory accuracy by conducting stocktakes, reconciliations, cycle counts, and implementing process enhancements.
- Manage inbound and outbound freight operations across multiple international markets.
- Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate order management and fulfillment, striving to deliver outstanding service quality and excellent customer experiences.
- Analyze logistics data, costs, and trends to pinpoint areas for operational improvements.
- Create dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights into the supply chain.
- Assist in onboarding retailers, implementing EDI systems, and driving supply chain projects.
- Work cross-functionally to achieve continuous operational improvement and excellence.
Desired Experience and Skills
- A minimum of five years in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
- Demonstrated experience handling 3PL providers.
- Strong skill set in inventory management and stock control processes.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding, carrier management, and transportation coordination.
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions, reporting tools, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical abilities combined with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Preferences
- Background in retail or consumer goods industries.
- Experience with NetSuite ERP software.
- Knowledge of global logistics networks and their challenges.
- Expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and compliance with retailer standards.
